The start

So yeah I discovered I'm scared of monkeys. Yesterday we went on a day trip starting off at a place called Tiger Temple which had a mountain you could climb up 1200 steps to the top. Now I don't like heights but I said I'd try, turns out the heights were the least of my problems. We started off and we seen a monkey and it was so cute it came over to me and stole my water and I had to get my camera out take a picture and went to take my water back. Oh no wrong idea. 3 other monkeys surrounded me and were just staring and started to hiss, at this point I'm scared so I scream. The monkey gets a fright and throws my water down the stairs at some girl at the bottom. Evil monkey! It was the monkey mafia, you don't mess with them. There's monkeys everywhere and the heights got to much for me so I had to make my way back down after 300 steps. I was so scared I was shaking.

The rest of the day trip was to a natural spring pool in the middle of the forest which you could swim in. Awkward moment when your the only westerners and make the mistake of wearing a bikini to go swimming in, Cue lots of staring! We also visiting a hot spring which was amazing and as hot as a bath and at the top of a waterfall.

I'm in Krabi right now which is in the south west of thailand and a lovely little town. It's low season right now which is good since its not too busy. Had a very long journey here and the last few days are a blur. Bangkok was it's usual crazy self. We got sucked into mer
khoa San road as every backpacker does and got ridiculously drunk for two days. Then it was a 12 hour overnight train, two 6 hour buses and a taxi and we made it to Krabi to meet Sharon.
